How to Build Arrows with Hot Melt Glue
I have already lost 4 bulbs, collars, and inserts in my bag target. I had to order more. This is very frustrating knowing the expense. I think I'm going to go back to epoxy! I love this system from iron will but the wax is not holding!
Sorry to hear that this didn't work for you. We have many customers who use this method with great success and we have found that this Hot Melt Archery Adhesive is the best for the application as it has a higher melting point but can still be removed in boiling water. It works great on high impact and deep penetrating broadheads. Installation processes are really important. If you ever want to try again, you can check out our installation videos on our YouTube channel for some installation tips.
Love this stuff
For the price and the amount you get, this is all I will buy from now on. Melts and hold better than blue cool melt
No comlaint's at all. Product is easy to use and has a super bond . I have used this glue on different manufactures components and it worked with no negative results with all of them. Great product, will continue using instead of my old gluing system.
Thank you for the review! We only recommend this hot melt for our HIT insert system because of it's bonding strength and impact tolerance while also providing a melting point conducive to removing componants using boiling water. This means you won't damage your arrows by ever using a heat gun on your arrows. Glue in the HIT and the head as one piece. Check out our YouTube for more info on hot melt installation.
Admittedly I’m a rookie but I couldn’t get my inserts not slip out from my target. Switched to rubberized superglue. Works better for me but more quicker to set and more permanent.
