REINFORCED HIT SYSTEM

ENGINEERED FOR STRONG ARROWS AND PRECISE SHOTS

Compatible with small (.204) and micro (.165/.166) diameter arrows, Iron Will’s Reinforced HIT System builds strength down into the arrow with a composite layering of hardened metal (HIT Insert), carbon fiber (arrow), and hardened metal (Impact Collar) to provide improved arrow connection strength over outserts or half-outs. Patent Pending.

Accuracy & Penetration

After eliminating weak broadheads as a potential point of failure for hunters, we went to work engineering a solution to a secondary weak point – the connection between the broadhead and the arrow shaft.

The resulting Iron Will Reinforced HIT System builds strength into your arrows so they hold strong on hard-hitting impacts, maintaining their momentum all the way through the animal.

How we made a stronger arrow

Composite Layering

Sandwiching the carbon fiber of the arrow shaft between layers of hardened metal keeps the arrow's momentum driving forward on heavy impacts, resulting in improved arrow penetration.

Precision Fitment

Engineered to industry-leading tolerances and multiple weight and size combinations so you can find a precise fit. All this for shot consistency, so you can count on your arrows at the moment-of-truth.

Highest Quality Materials

For the ultimate in lightweight toughness, our 10 grain Impact Collars and 15 grain HIT Inserts are precisely Swiss CNC machined using Grade 5 Titanium. This offers far superior strength-to-weight than ordinary aluminum inserts and footers.

Our heavier components are machined from a hardened stainless steel that is over twice as strong as typical steel insert materials. This allows you to increase front-of-arrow weight with superior strength.

The Reinforced HIT System is engineered to build strength down into your arrow, which reduces tolerance stack-up for more accurate flight while preventing blow-outs on heavy bone impact.

In contrast, outserts and half-outs create a lever arm out in front of the arrow, which multiplies side impact bending stress which can damage arrows and stop penetration.

Field Tested

"Hunting is my life's passion and I believe in taking care of every little detail that I can in regards to my hunts. Having the best gear available to help me be successful is one of those details I can control. As a result, I don't skimp on my gear. Iron Will broadheads and components are the very best I have found so they are in my quiver for every hunt!"

How to Build Your Arrows

If you haven’t ordered Reinforced HIT System components before, you may have some questions about selecting the right components for your arrows. Let's walk through it.

Step 1: Would You Prefer to Build Your Own Arrows or Have Us Build Them For You?

To build your own arrows, continue on to Step 2 to determine which components fit your arrow shafts. To order ready-to-shoot fully built arrows, visit our Custom Machine Built Arrows page.

Step 2: Select the Iron Will HIT Insert That Fits Your Arrows

1 | Select Your Desired Weight
Choose from the available options of 15, 25, 50 ,75, & 100 grains to achieve your desired front-of-center (FOC).

2 | Identify the Inner Diameter of Your Arrow
Choose the .204" diameter with standard #8-32 threads if you are shooting small diameter arrows like 5mm Axis, 5mm FMJ, Rampage, RIP TKO, or Kinetic arrows, for example.

Choose the .166" diameter with Deep Six #6-40 threads if you are shooting micro diameter arrows like the 4mm Carbon Injections, 4mm FMJ Injections, Deep Impact, X-Impact, VAP TKO, or Kinetic Pierce arrows, for example. Note: to use our Reinforced HIT System with micro diameter arrows, you will need to shoot Deep Six field points and broadheads.

For strong, true flying arrows, Iron Will HIT Inserts are engineered to align directly to your arrow's inner diameter. This takes outsert component tolerances out of the equation and ensures that broadheads spin true to the arrow. And with 10 different weight and size combinations that fit .204 or .166 ID arrows, you can dial in the exact front-of-arrow weight you need for the best arrow flight and confident shots.

Note: These HIT Inserts come as a six pack.

Step 3: Choose Your Impact Collars

1 | Select Your Desired Weight
Choose either the C10 (10 grain, Grade5 titanium, 0.7" long) or the C25 (25 grain, Hardened Steel, 1.0" long) Impact Collar depending on the weight needed to achieve your desired FOC.

2 | Identify the Outside Diameter of Your Arrow
Arrow outside diameters will vary with arrow type and spine. Choose the size (A-H) so that the inside diameter of the Impact Collar is .001 to .006" larger than your arrow outside diameter. This is listed for many arrows in this Compatibility Chart.

Broken arrows don't get the job done, so we engineered Impact Collars to protect your arrow shafts. Similar to a footer, these sleeves slide over the end of your arrow and provide a barrier of protection between the delicate carbon and broadhead. And because we don't do anything halfway, Impact Collars are engineered with industry leading materials and tolerances for a precise fit, accurate flight, and unrelenting strength that saves arrows and keeps momentum driving forward.

Note: These Impact Collars come as a six pack.

Step 4: Order Field Points and Broadheads

1 | Select Your Desired Weight
Choose a weight that complements your HIT Insert and Impact Collar weight to achieve your desired FOC.

2 | Select Standard or Deep Six Threads
Choose Standard Threads for .204 ID arrows and Inserts or Deep Six for micro .166 ID arrows and Inserts.

When your range time is leading up to a big hunt, having field points that are as high quality as the rest of your arrow is essential. Field points are for pushing one's abilities, so a Hardened Stainless Steel point protects your arrow from the occasional miss. For the 99% of other shots that land on target, a bulbed head makes pulling arrows a cinch. Confidence on the hunt starts with success while practicing, so you can count on these field points being manufactured to industry-leading tolerances that promote precision accuracy.

Note: These Field Points come as a six pack.
